Hi-Rise Bread Company is hiring a full-time baker / bakery supervisor in their baking department, with a focus on bread. Working alongside other team members, bakers have the following basic responsibilities, with increased responsibilities as experience and skill provides:
- Scaling wet and dry ingredients according to recipe specifications
- Baking quickbreads, scones, and breads
- Mixing and shaping a wide variety of doughs
No experience with commercial baking is required, though experienced candidates are encouraged to apply. Specific responsibilities and pay are based on experience. All candidates should show an interest in learning, a strong work ethic, and a passion for quality. Precision, speed, and an attention to detail are key, as is a desire to work independently within a complex, fast-paced work environment. Shifts begin as early as 5:00am, so a commitment to an early work day is a must, and some weekend availability is required.
