Gufo, the Coda Group’s (SRV,The Salty Pig and Baleia) East Cambridge Italian restaurant, is seeking a Service Manager to help lead their front of the house team. Gufos (Owl in Italian) lunch, brunch and dinner menus focus on handmade pasta, pizza and comforting-yet-inventive shared plates. The beverage program features craft cocktails, a focused list of local beer as well as wine made from Italian grape varietals grown in Italy and the US.
Gufo’s primary goal is creating a space for community through delicious food and drink paired with genuine hospitality. Gufo strives to get back to the basics: great food in a beautiful setting served with warm and genuine hospitality. Potential applicants must embody those qualities and want to be a part of a team that’s primary focus is on our staff and our guests. Remembering names and faces, turning first timers into regulars, and having fun while working hard are our only non-negotiable qualities.
The Service Manager position works alongside Gufo’s management team and sets the standard of hospitality and service. They are responsible for the daily operations of the restaurant, the direct management of our front of house team and the value offered to our guests through thoughtful hospitality.
Previous management experience is preferred but not required.
