Grill 23 & Bar has been Boston’s best steakhouse for over thirty years. As they continue to grow, they are seeking to add another talented Sous Chef to their fantastic culinary team. They don’t do just steak, by the way, they are very seriously seafood minded as well. Working with them, you will have the ability to learn about volume, consistency and excellence as you help to lead their team.
They are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, organized and responsible applicant who has a love for food, leadership and hospitality. Responsibilities include: overseeing prep and production, expediting service, ordering, inventory, training, and scheduling. Applicants will have a track record of success in managing others with care and concern. Applicants will have experience in high volume and high quality operations. A culinary degree is a plus but not necessary. Ideal candidates will have a least 2 years’ experience as a line cook and ideally 1 — 2 years’ experience at Sous Chef level.
