Grill 23 & Bar in Boston is looking for a pastry cook to join their team! They love dessert and they are looking for someone who feels the same! Are you a motivated individual who is looking to start their pastry career? Then this position is for you! You should have a solid knowledge of basic pastry technique and an interest in jumping into service with energy and excitement. You would be working with the Executive Pastry Chef, Valerie Nin and her pastry sous to do dessert production as well as working the dessert station during dinner service. They are looking for someone who wants to take ownership over the pastry station and really treat it with care and pride.
A little about Grill 23 & Bar, they are a successful small group of privately owned restaurants that has been in Boston for many years. They are fine dining, but not fussy. THEY LOVE DESSERT!! They are one of only 100 restaurants in the world to win the Wine Spectator Grand Award for their wine program. Their dessert menu focuses on American classics and seasonal favorites. Along with the regular dessert menu they also do custom celebration cakes, mignardises, and mini dessert displays.
They would love for you to join their team! The position would be 35-40 hours a week, must have Saturday and Sunday availability.
Grill 23 is located very close to both Back Bay and Arlington T stations. Commuting from the orange or green lines is very accessible.
