Gray’s Hall – Executive Chef

Gray’s Hall, a casual neighborhood wine bar in South Boston, is seeking an experienced kitchen leader to fill our Executive Chef position.

Ideal candidates will:

  • Have a love of food with an emphasis on utilizing local and seasonal ingredients
  • Be an active learner and teacher regarding food
  • Create a culture of constant learning amongst team
  • Be profit driven with a firm understanding of food cost and waste management
  • Have the ability to manage inventory, including placing orders while maintaining relationships with vendors
  • Be an expert in food safety
  • Have a desire to lead by example
  • Have experience and knowledge with organizing, teaching, and maintaining systems within a restaurant
  • Have experience scheduling a kitchen team for prep and service
  • Have confidence to train, uplift, and grow your team while managing them
  • Have an ability to speak Spanish is a plus
