Gourmet Caterers is seeking a multi-dimensional Chef Manager for one of their exclusive venues located in Salem, MA. This position reports to a General Manager within Gourmet Caterers.
- Culinary or Hospitality Degree required
- Proven track record of managing food and labor cost, ordering, inventory, scheduling, staff development, staff training and customer service.
- FOH and BOH experience a necessity in this venue.
- High ability to prioritize tasks to ensure deadlines are met
- Ability to successfully manage time constraints in a fluid environment with constant change
- Ability to overcome roadblocks and create systems and structures that will ensure long term success
- Training and development of team members as a daily task
- Menu development, costing and production of menu
This position is in a high profile venue and candidates must be able to interface with many different people on a daily basis promoting a high quality customer service experience to guests and internal clients. High quality production of catered events in this venue is mandatory.
