Fin Point Oyster Bar is looking a talented and reliable pastry chef to head up their pastry department in their growing popular restaurant and their newest addition, a coffee shop and cocktail lounge where they prepare many classic coffee shop items and lunch items. The job requires an individual to know all the classic pastries and sweets, including but not limited to laminated doughs, especially croissants. Other things prepared are muffins, cookies, biscuits, miniature cakes, granola, breads for sandwiches, production of desserts for the restaurant and much more.
The schedule required is mostly day time including one or two weekend days You will be responsible for all production of baked goods (with the help of 2 trained assistants) and must follow the direction of the chef/owners as far as what is expected in taste, target markets and very importantly, time management and employee management. They are a very quickly expanding restaurant group that would welcome a like minded individual with big dreams that would love to share in their continued success.
