Located on Revere Beach, Dryft is renowned for its vibrant atmosphere and exceptional cuisine. We are on the lookout for a dedicated and experienced individual to be our Assistant General Manager. Responsibilities:
- Assist the General Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations during nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Support tasks related to hiring, training, scheduling, and management of staff.
- Help maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by upholding quality standards in food, service, and ambiance.
- Collaborate with the management team to uphold, evaluate, and innovate policies, procedures, and systems for better operational efficiency.
- Address customer complaints or concerns promptly to uphold a positive restaurant reputation.
- Assist in managing a dynamic team, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Maintain a professional restaurant image, aligning with standards of cleanliness, uniform, and appearance.
- Ensure exemplary guest service across all areas.
- Provide backup to the General Manager in operational and procedural guidance to staff.
- Assist in leading, coaching, and driving excellence throughout the team.
- Aid in employee development by supporting ongoing feedback, performance expectations, and reviews.
- Help manage expenses, optimize profitability, monitor inventory, and analyze financial performance to identify improvement areas.
Qualifications:
- At least 4 years of managerial experience in a full-service restaurant.
- Strong ability to support a senior management role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable with team mentorship, staff training, scheduling, POS operations, and reservation platforms.
