New South Boston Restaurant is currently seeking a self-motivated and highly organized individual to join the team as General Manager. Candidates must have a keen eye for for detail, and lead by example. Excellent leadership skills in a multifaceted environment preferred. An appreciation for true hospitality and building relationships with guests are a must.

Responsibilities:
• Day to day oversight of operations, FOH and BOH
• Oversight of all departments
• Ensure the Director of Operation standards of ambiance, music, lighting
• Customers engagement and relations
• Oversight of all finances
• Staff training and culture
• Maintain impeccable health and service standards
• Oversight of bar and beverage program

Requirements:
• Ability to maintain a healthy staff culture based on training and knowledge
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Knowledge of Canva and Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience with Tripleseat
• Hospitality driven
• Marketing and Sales knowledge
• Flexibility in schedule
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Full-time availability including weekends

 

They are also looking for an Executive Sous Chef who is creative, energetic and forward-thinking individual to join their BOH management team. Applicants should be hands on, professional individuals with at least 2 years of management experience in a high-volume scratch kitchen. The ideal candidate should have a passion for food, show a sense of urgency, and an eagerness to create new dishes that fit the Culinary Directors guidelines.

Responsibilities:
• Work with Social Media manager to create content, library of photographs and videos that showcase the restaurant
• Control food costs, costing menus, updating inventory and weekly purchases
• Daily administrative and office tasks
• Work alongside the Culinary Director to execute the menu, and create new dishes for specials
• Organization, Preparation, and Production of all culinary operations
• Managing the staff and execution of each service
• Training materials for the menu for both FOH and BOH staff
