Busy American style bistro specializing in fresh fish, steaks, raw bar, and traditional bistro fare, seeks an experienced Executive Chef. Located in a beautifully renovated historic building on Main Street in a small Vermont city, our restaurant has 150 seats. The ideal candidate will bring a creative vision to accessible, fun bistro food, including incorporating flavors from other parts of the world.
Responsibilities include:
• Managing a staff of 12 including scheduling, hiring and retention.
• Menu creation.
• Cost control and inventory.
• Able to work under pressure, and handle high volume with a positive attitude
• A team player who is passionate about food
