A dinner-only Providence area restaurant, open seven days a week, is looking for a chef to head up their team.
We are a very upscale casual restaurant that has been open for many, many years and doing very well.
We need a STRONG leader in the kitchen. I am looking for an individual that will take full ownership of his position and the kitchen and will work tirelessly in order to have a 100% well running operation with proper: cleaning, training, ordering and food-costing while also controlling waste and payroll to maximize the operation in both quality and profitability. Obviously you also need to be a fantastic cook as well. Right now we are fully staffed but we are lacking a leader. Please don’t waste my time or yours, if your not willing to give 100% to this job.
However all that said I know from successfully being in this business all my life….that when you give 100% and work tirelessly you get a great running operation that is actually much easier to run than an ill managed place.
Pay: $80,000.00 – $93,000.00 per year
Pay range is listed with monthly bonus. Base is $80k and we pay monthly bonus for hitting payroll and food cost numbers.
Healthcare and Dental are available at 100% cost to you, but it can come out of your pay and is a tax deductible.
Again, do not waste my time if you are anything less than what i have clearly described as to what I am looking for in this person. Expect to work 5 day a week and to be on the line during service.
