This is a morning management position so applicants must enjoy and be comfortable working with and leading a small dedicated team in a busy kitchen.
Applicants should have appropriate prior pastry management experience as an assistant or chef for at least 2 years in an active, professional kitchen. Good organization, independence and clean work habits are a must.
Responsibilities include managing daily a la carte production and plating design of desserts and banquet menu items , in addition to production of daily breads, pastries and cakes they do a wide variety of pastry and confectionery production including Occasion
cakes, chocolate work, and onsite ice cream production. Other responsibility’s include ordering, inventory, staff training.
Weekends including some Sundays are required.
A positive attitude and work ethic is everything. This is a full time position.
