This is a morning management position so applicants must enjoy and be comfortable working with and leading a small dedicated team in a busy kitchen.
Applicants should have appropriate prior pastry training or experience and or at least 2 years of experience in an active, professional kitchen. Good organization and clean work habits are a must.
Responsibilities include shared managing of daily a la carte production and assisting with plating design of a la carte desserts and banquet menu items , in addition to production of daily breads, pastries and cakes. They do a wide variety of pastry and confectionery production including Occasion cakes, chocolate work, and onsite ice cream production. Other shared responsibility’s include ordering, inventory, staff training.
Weekends including Sundays are required.
A positive attitude and work ethic is everything. This is a full time position.
