Cheever Tavern is a new 70 seat restaurant opening in Norwell Center. Serving upscale American tavern food, specialty cocktails and 20 taps, they plan to be very busy. Cheever Tavern is a comfortable eatery with a relaxed atmosphere while serving the highest quality food with an upscale presentation. They are currently seeking an Assistant Manager to play an integral role in managing FOH operations. This position will take total charge of the operation in the absence of the General Manager. The Assistant Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of the restaurant, including the selection, development and performance management of employees in coordination with the GM. In addition, assist in inventory and supplies, optimize profits and ensure that guests are satisfied with their dining experience. The Assistant Manager must maintain proper restaurant image including cleanliness and uniforms. Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.
Ability to coordinate multiple tasks such as food, beverage and labor costs while maintaining required standards of operation in daily restaurant activities;
Strong leadership skills;
Available days, nights, and weekends;
Bar Experience preferred
Serv safe for managers certified;
Compensation to include 2 weeks paid vacation.
