Café du Pays (opened July 2017) is inspired by French Canadian culture and food. The menu, developed by Head Chef Dan Amighi, showcases the hearty cuisine, balanced with lighter New England seafood and produce. The bar features Quebec and New England breweries, French wines and spirits, and a list of cocktails with inspiration and ingredients from Canada down through Massachusetts.
The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, a genuine interest in food and beverage, with a passion for hospitality and a drive to learn and grow within a team environment. The main role of a server assistant is to help maintain tables by clearing and resetting between courses as well as having a strong sense of guests’ needs throughout the meal. Other responsibilities include food running, silver polishing, watering tables, bar support, etc. This position is a good stepping stone for a server position. The ability to work quickly and efficiently, with a keen sense of time management, and an aptitude for multitasking will be vital in this role. Experience in establishments with high quality food and drink in service-focused environments preferred.
They are a family run, independent, award winning restaurant group who are sustainably minded and have proudly operated restaurants in Cambridge since 2008. The ownership and management team work hard alongside their staff daily and have enacted a food revenue sharing program amongst their BOH team. Seeking like minded individuals!
