We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, training staff, and ensuring a memorable guest experience. You will work closely with the management team to meet and maintain our financial goals and will be a key leader in overseeing our dedicated bar team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Day-to-Day Operations: Oversee daily activities of the bar to ensure smooth operations and address any issues promptly.
- Staff Training: Train all employees in proper service techniques, recipes, and procedures to maintain high standards.
- Guest Experience: Ensure that every guest has a positive experience by addressing concerns and ensuring excellent service.
- Financial Goals: Collaborate with the management team to achieve and maintain financial objectives for the bar, including managing inventory and controlling costs.
- Leadership: Exhibit strong leadership skills while managing and motivating a small, dedicated team of bar staff.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a bar or restaurant management, or lead server role.
- Must be TIPS certified
- Strong understanding of bar operations, service standards, and financial management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and inspire a team while maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations with grace.
