Brasserie Boston – Executive Chef

2020 was transformative for the restaurant industry. That’s a nice way of saying it. This small but growing team is doing the only thing they know how to do and planning for better times ahead. They’re starting from scratch and looking for ambitious, innovative, and energetic team members to help level up this operation.

SoWa Hospitality Group is determined to have a role in the rebuilding of the Boston restaurant scene. They’re a new restaurant group founded by Jeffrey Gates, a veteran of the Greater Boston restaurant scene. Their first move will come this spring with the opening of Brasserie, known for its gracious hospitality and classic French brasserie preparations accompanied by a carefully curated beverage program.

They seek an Executive Chef with a minimum of 5 years of experience to begin hiring their team, finalizing a “from scratch” menu and the accompanying recipes, training every team member with consistent and high-quality products as their goal, develop schedules and kitchen budgets, develop preferred vendor lists and purchasing habits, manage the day to day operations, maintain all cost controls and targets, and maintain the best standards of hygiene including ServSafe and other code requirements.
