Branch Line – Sous Chef

Branch Line is looking for a motivated Sous Chef to work closely with the kitchen team as a teacher and a proactive leader. Branch Line, located in Watertown, features a rotisserie oven alongside a wood burning grill that serve as the inspiration behind its Mediterranean influenced menu. Rotisserie chicken, grilled whole fish, and lamb skewers with homemade pita are some of their menu staples that utilize these unique cooking methods. They work with local farmers and fisherman to source their products when they can. This is a great opportunity to work with exciting produce and bring your personal management style to their growing kitchen.

As a Sous Chef, you will act as a mentor, assisting in the training and development of line cooks, prep cooks, and the dishwashing team.The Sous Chef will be responsible for overseeing and executing daily prep, working the line, meat butchery and cookery, expediting during both lunch and dinner service, and daily ordering while managing food and labor costs. Branch Line is open for lunch and dinner daily, working Saturdays and Sundays are a must.
