BOSA Coastal Italian & Rooftop Bar – Assistant General Manager

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and oversee day-to-day restaurant operations at the BOSA restaurant.
  • Assist the Restaurant General Manager with providing leadership and instilling a work environment based upon respect; providing opportunities for staff to learn, grow and develop their abilities through training of employees.
  • Assist with implementing overall food & beverage the strategy that aligns with the restaurant’s organizational policies and goals.
  • Train, develop, coach, and evaluate employee performance; ensure systems for training employees are fully implemented and followed.
  • Assist with the scheduling, training, developing, mentoring, and leading a team of restaurant professionals in assigned workgroups for the front-of-the-house operations.
  • Understand all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs for the BOSA Restaurant.


  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a supervisory or management capacity within the restaurant and/or hospitality industry.
  • Minimum 2 years’ of experience and demonstrated success in a high volume, upscale environment required.
  • Must be able to understand and analyze financial profit and loss statements, food cost, inventory, food safety, and sanitation requirements.
  • Must be able to successfully complete food and alcohol safety certification programs.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the entire dining and bar area.
  • Available to work different hours including weekends, days and nights.
