Black Lamb – Busser/Runner

Black Lamb, a new neighborhood restaurant from the group behind Bar Mezzana and Shore Leave, is seeking talented Bussers/Runners to join our team.

The busser/runner position is the backbone of theervice team. Ideal candidates are proactive individuals who love problem solving and are strong communicators. Bussers/Runners are expected to give service that is knowledgeable, approachable, efficient and energetic.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ongoing table and floor maintenance, including water service, clearing and cleaning tables, resetting tables, and restocking service tools.
  • Running food from the kitchen to guests, describing dishes as needed, and responding appropriately to guest requests.
  • Communicating respectfully with servers and managers, as well as chefs and kitchen team as needed
  • Ability to receive instructions from multiple sources and prioritize tasks

Preferably 1+ years of experience in the hospitality industry, but for the right individual, no previous experience is needed. This is an ideal position for someone looking to understand what makes a restaurant tick from the ground up.

Comfortable on your feet in a fast-paced environment
Flexible schedule and weekend availability
