Bistro du Midi, Boston’s premier French bistro nestled right on the Public Garden, is looking for a passionate, driven pastry assistant to join their bustling team! Applicants should possess basic knowledge of pastry fundamentals and techniques, as well as a deep and abiding love of food, a desire to learn and the ability to be a team player.
This position is a wonderful opportunity for someone looking to advance in the pastry field. This position will work directly with Pastry Chef Justin Reynolds and Chef/Partner Robert Sisca, creating and plating classic French desserts inspired by New England’s seasonal bounty. Responsibilities include but are not limited to menu development, team leadership, opening and closing the pastry station, making bread, training and overall ownership of the department.
