Big Dipper Hospitality Group – Office Assistant

Join the family! The Big Dipper Hospitality Group (State Park, Mamaleh’s Delicatessen and Café du Pays) is hiring a part-time Office Assistant to support the administrative team and restaurant managers with various projects.

Skills and Minimum Experience Required:

  • At least 1 year of customer service experience
  • Preference given to candidates who have worked in a hospitality
  • College Degree preferred
  • Strong people skills and a professional demeanor is a must
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to create and maintain organization and communication with supervisors
  • Technically inclined
  • Computer and typing skills mandatory – must be comfortable learning and becoming proficient in new technology and software
  • Must be a fast learner
  • Ability to problem solve and work independently
  • Ability to confidently answer guest phone calls and emails

Responsibilities and Duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Keeping all offices tidy and organized
  • Preparing cash deposits for bank
  • Running errands for management team as needed
  • Retrieving and processing mail and shipping packages as needed
  • Troubleshooting any problems that arise with internet, phone system, and other office equipment
  • Collecting and alphabetizing invoices
  • Fulfilling donation requests
  • Scanning and uploading documents to employee files
  • Completing Data Entry
  • Checking individual restaurant voicemail and email and forwarding messages to appropriate parties
  • Assist with newsletter
  • Update websites
