Big Dill Hospitality – Manager

They’re looking for a professional energetic Manager to run and maintain their current concept and then RE-BRAND to a new concept on Moody St in Waltham! This will be this company’s second location on the street, but the concepts will be vastly different.

Currently they’re operating an ‘as is’ sports bar until the final plans for the new concept are complete (they’d love your professional input!). They’d like you to manage basic operations and build sales until the launching of the new concept is complete. This gives us time to set a foundation for the new concept.

For the new concept they’re looking for a Manager to oversee management of a new ‘street food’ concept. Inspiration from the world’s best State Fairs, food trucks, and urban streets of the world presented as restaurant quality and an eye for WOW! Think Flamin’ Hot Cheetos Onion Rings with a house made siracha ranch sauce. Or Thyme pretzel bites with a house prepared mustard sample platter. Street Tacos and corn. Fried Oreo, Twinkie or snicker dessert. The options are endless and FUN! Quality, presentation and attention to detail is a MUST to pull this off!

Experience entertainment will be a major part of who and what they are. They want to have an active bar entertainment atmosphere with creative experience motivators. Some examples would include, creative trivia nights, lip sync contests, open mics, etc. They have a ton of very ‘out of the box’ ideas that they would need help in executing and overseeing as well. They don’t want to give away too much on here, but you’ll have to trust us, its ‘different’.

Their other location is larger and they will be using it as an area to stage for both restaurants. Working with their management team building a schedule for all staff is required.

They’re looking for a proven professional and leader who has experience in the industry in full service concepts. This will be a new opening with some construction. Experience in opening a restaurant is very helpful. You’ll need to be good with P&L, hiring/disciplining staff, guest relations, food/drink knowledge and setting a good organizational foundation for the restaurant to grow.

**The restaurant has 86 seats with a bar. It’s open for dinner service Wed-Sat 5-11p to start and Sunday Brunch 10a-3p. As you grow sales they’ll add day parts as warranted until the new concept is launched – Their other location is a brunch restaurant with 94 seats and a bar. Open 7a-3p everyday and closed Tuesdays**

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $55,000.00 to $70,000.00 /year
