B&G Oysters, Chef Barbara Lynch’s award winning South End Oyster Bar, is seeking a Manager to join its team.
B&G Oysters is a scratch kitchen working with only the freshest ingredients day in day out. The menu offers seafood classics such as lobster rolls and clam chowder to fish entrees with seasonally inspired accoutrements. The front of house staff is tenured and knowledgeable about wine, food pairings, and accommodating excellent service and hospitality in a high volume setting. Candidates must have availability in the evenings and on weekends and be available to work 5 days a week. Management, Maitre d’, or Lead Host experience is key as well as fluency working with Guest Center Opentable. Toast, 7 Shifts, Excel, Word, Slack, and Google Drive are other platforms used however those can be trained.
Ideal candidates will be problem solvers and able to make decisions in the moment for the best interest of the restaurant, guests, and staff.
No day is like the other so comfort working in a changing environment is important. Furthermore, ideal candidates will be planners and excellent communicators.
