Beacon Hill Hotel & Bistro, a neighborhood gem along one of Boston’s most coveted streets, is hiring a Full Time Bistro Supervisor. Bistro, by definition, is unpretentious, local and inviting. Their culinary team explores their creativity and passion for local foods with a menu that delivers an experience, not just a plate of food. The 90+ seat restaurant also offers a number of private functions with their rooftop terrace. Their philosophy is that their guests’ experience will never exceed the experience of their employees, and therefore they are looking for people who can positively contribute to their team.
With direction from the General Manager and Assistant Manager, the Bistro Supervisor will oversee the day to day operation of the restaurant and hotel. Responsibilities will include opening and supervising the restaurant during service, managing incoming restaurant and hotel reservations, ensuring their hotel guests’ needs are met and exceeded, assisting the team, and closing the restaurant at the end of the day. The Bistro Supervisor will have an enthusiasm for hospitality that will inspire the rest of the team.
- At least 1 year of Restaurant experience
- Must be able to stand for 6 hours, navigate stairs
- Must have full availability, days, nights, weekends
- Some college preferred
- Bi-Lingual a plus
