Artistry on the Green is seeking an Executive Chef to support our growing restaurant services. Ideal candidates are dynamic individuals who understand and appreciate the art of hospitality, have a passion for fine food & wine and enjoy people whether they are guests or members of the team.
This is an operational level management position with directed oversight on kitchen operations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, management of three meal periods, afternoon teas, events and room service–all while ensuring that all guests feel welcome and are provided with an outstanding meal at every meal.
- Leadership – (1) member of the executive leadership team, (2) responsible for recruiting & training, (3) impart the company’s values, visions & direction.
- Administrative – (1) maintain policies & procedures (2) ensure quality of the product (3) monitor staff training & performance (4) assist with events (5) prepare weekly work schedule.
- Culinary – work closely with sous chef and Chef de Cuisine on menu development.
Applicants should be strong leader have a thorough understanding of restaurant operations with 5 plus years of experience in culinary operations, preferably in a luxury resort sector. A Bachelors or culinary degree is preferable.
