A private membership club is seeking an executive chef.
Scope, Expectations & Requirements:
The Executive Chef is responsible for the culinary operation in its entirety including, but not limited to, menu development, food production, staff recruitment and development, cost controls, culinary standards, purchasing, and effective communication. The dynamic Chef will be one that can execute multiple banquets while running a consistently high level a la carte program.
Organization, communication, follow-through, commitment and a leadership are all attributes that necessary to excel in this position.
Their private membership Club is a downtown City Club located in Boston, which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner Monday through Friday, and dinner on Saturdays. The Club has a thriving event business and will have multiple events and member dining all happening concurrently. The goal is to raise the bar on the food and service to a platinum level that will excite the membership.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Chef that wants to take an entrepreneurial approach to creating a culinary hot spot in the city of Boston!
Salary and Benefits: The compensation package includes a respectable base salary plus performance bonus potential: benefits including a comprehensive medical insurance program; 401k program; vacation and professional development allowance. A relocation allowance (if required) is negotiable.
