A local restaurant is hiring a Chef de Cuisine to work in their state-of-the-art open kitchen to grow and motivate their team for success.
This restaurant hires candidates based on attitude as well as a desire to gain experience to take the next step in their careers. They are a hands-on scratch kitchen and are looking for passionate individuals that want to grow and advance within their growing company. You will have access to butchery, charcuterie, wood fire cooking, local produce, pasta making and–above all–a place to hone your skills. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in line cooking, maintaining cleanliness and organization, problem-solving skills and self motivation.
Prior management and private event banquet cooking experience is preferred to oversee their staff. In addition to staff management and daily operations, this candidate will be required to assist in administrative duties such as scheduling and product orders. This position would work closely with the Executive Chef to maintain a level of execution and consistency, whether it is for their dining room or their private dining room.
This restaurant is open for dinner 6 days a week, brunch on the weekends, and closed on Mondays. They offer great pay, a 3% living wage surcharge, and a structured environment that promotes a quality work life balance. This position offers accommodation with time off requests and competitive salary.
