Alcove, a bustling neighborhood restaurant that highlights coastal New England cuisine and an award-winning chef is looking for a Pastry Chef to join their expanding team. Entering their third year as a destination in the West End, their large, four-season patio is about to get even busier as they start to trade in their heaters and fire pits for grills and umbrellas!
Ideal candidates have experience in high volume settings and prior experience in team building, budgeting, managing costs and labor, menu development and working as part of a cohesive kitchen team. With a focus on seasonal ingredients, candidates must bring a creative and energetic approach to an ever evolving dessert menu. The Pastry Chef is also responsible for the overall training, development and management of all pastry staff including interviewing potential hires and conducting periodic performance reviews. This position reports directly to the Chef de Cuisine.
Compensation: Salary is commensurate with work experience. Benefits include health insurance and bonus structure.
