ALCHEMISTA is seeking a talented Sales Director to oversee catering sales here in Massachusetts and in NYC!
They service a dynamic portfolio of high-end corporate clients in the medical, tech, and start-up fields. They also service a smaller group of boutique firms that embrace perks & dining culture as part of the workplace experience.
The Sales Director must be knowledgeable, fearless, and exhibit traceable history of successful leadership and mentoring sales people AND have a verifiable track record in the catering sales world. Competition is fierce and they are seeking someone that can build upon their amazing foundation to help them reach their next phases of growth.
Duties include (but are not limited to), prioritizing company sales targets based on the wishes of the CEO and Director of Strategy, outlining & establishing company goals by territory, identifying key players & decision makers within target organizations, facilitating and overseeing the general success of catering, special event planning, & snack & beverage stocking sales here in Boston and New York. Experience in high-end event planning and corporate catering sales preferred!
You will be tasked with hiring Sales Representatives who will be fielding inbound inquiries about the Snack & Beverage lines, Catered Meal Programs, Special Events, Corporate Outings, and Pop-Ups. Account Managers also engage in targeted outbound sales via email, over the telephone, and pitching in-person to vetted, qualified leads that leadership curates. Discerning, tracking, and managing the achievement of company sales goals is required. They have a definitive need to run sales from the top down. This will involve daily coordination and weekly meetings with the CEO & Director of Strategy, overseeing the performance of Director of Growth & Retention, Account Managers, as well as Sales representatives, to track performance and note progress.

You must enjoy meeting new people and you are confident entering conversations with people who work at a variety of levels in both the corporate world and the food & beverage world.
You are tech-savvy and can manage your time with little supervision. They utilize several apps and platforms to facilitate and analyze sales activity, as well as to maintain detailed records for each client’s unique account. This includes but is not limited to: GoogleSuite, MicroSoft Office Suite, Adobe Photoshop, Excel, ZoomInfo, Close.io, Total Party Planner, among others..
You are detail-oriented and can process large amounts of data and stimulus from several sources with ease; logistics in this role is key.
You are comfortable in both team-focused and independent scenarios and consider the culinary community your network and your family. Persons who exhibit attention to detail, grace under fire, pragmatism, and a high level of organization will excel here!
This role answers directly to the CEO and Director Of Strategy at their Boston Headquarters.
Compensation includes a generous base salary. Bonus structure, health benefits, and other perks available to eligible employees once you’ve successfully completed your probationary period of 90 Days.
