ALCHEMISTA is looking for an account manager, a talented hospitality pro with a successful track record to help us provide excellent service and create memorable experiences for their amazing clients. They wish to employ people who are as passionate about the guest experience as they are!
In addition to planning food & beverage-focused events and recurring catered meals, their Account Managers are also responsible for the acquisition of new business! Fielding inbound inquiries about their Catered Meal Subscriptions, planning Special Events, and food-focused Pop-Ups are all part of the daily routine. Focused, qualified, outbound sales via email, over the telephone, and pitching in-person is required. Management and leadership take a hands-on approach to coaching and support on all sales activity – it’s a dynamic, high-energy collaboration that requires focus and attention to detail.
A note about you:
You enjoy meeting new people. You are quietly confident entering conversations with people who work at a variety of levels in the corporate world. You are tech-savvy and can manage your time with little supervision. They utilize several apps and platforms to facilitate and analyze sales activity, as well as to maintain detailed records for each client’s unique account. This includes but is not limited to: GoogleSuite, MicroSoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator), Close.io, CustomerGuage, Nowsta, InDesign, among others.
You take your work super seriously but don’t take yourself too seriously. You have a noted history of creating memorable guest experiences. You love food, you may love cooking, dinging out, reading about food & nutrition, and you most definitely have your finger on the pulse of the local restaurant scene (Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens).
You are comfortable in both team-oriented and independent scenarios and are willing & able to nurture productive relationships with clients on a variety of corporate levels. Attention to detail, grace under fire, unwavering pragmatism, and a positive approach are required – this is a demanding role!
