ALCHEMISTA is seeking a FT Account Manager to assist with their growing client base here in Boston & surrounding areas!
They service a dynamic portfolio of corporate clients at the top of their game in the medical & tech fields. They also service smaller, local firms that embrace perks & dining culture as part of the workplace experience and provide these programs and events to their employees.
In addition to planning food & beverage-focused events and selling catered meals, their Account Managers are also responsible for the acquisition of new business! Fielding inbound inquiries about their Snack & Coffee lines, Breakfast & Lunch Program, special events, company outings, and pop-ups are all part of the daily routine. Focused, qualified, outbound sales via Email, over the Telephone, and pitching in-person is also required with the support of leadership and management.
They are seeking talented hospitality pros to help them provide excellent service to both new and existing clients and wish to empty people who are as passionate about the guest experience and food & drink as they are!
You enjoy meeting new people and are confident entering conversations with a people who work at a variety of levels in the corporate world.
You are tech-savvy and can manage your time with little supervision. They utilize several apps and platforms to facilitate and analyze sales activity as well as to maintain detailed records for each client’s unique account and to plan custom menus; observing service updates, dining restrictions, allergies, and preferences. This includes but is not limited to: GoogleSuite, MicroSoft Office Suite, Adobe Photoshop, Excel, Total Party Planner, Schedulefly, InDesign, among others.
You take your work super seriously but don’t take yourself too seriously. You have a noted history of creating memorable guest experiences via the service of food & beverage. You love food, you love cooking, eating, dinging out, nutrition, and have your finger on the pulse of the local restaurant scene. Service managers, Event managers, catering sales backgrounds desired!
You are comfortable in both team-focused and independent scenarios and consider the culinary community your band of sisters and brothers. Attention to detail, grace under fire, pragmatism, and energetic people will excel here. They hold their team to high standards and they expect that people will be able to learn quickly and embrace their company culture.
At ALCHEMISTA they work very hard and they work long days… Your FT schedule 50-60 hours is Monday – Friday only. There are rare occasions that a few hours of homework or weekend work is required. They have a unique, diverse office culture and a closeknit team Food & drink are well-stocked. They also procure local food from restaurants they love and make their own meals from time to time. They drink beer and eat pizza, they also drink raw wine and keep funky cheese in the fridge.
Compensation includes a generous base salary. Commission & bonus structure, health benefits, and other perks available to eligible employees.
