ALBA Restaurant Group – Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team. We are looking for a creative, organized menu planner with experience in a variety of cuisines: New American, Italian, French and more. The Executive Chef will be responsible for menu development, kitchen management, staff training, and ensuring exceptional food quality.

As the Executive Chef, you will be the driving force behind our kitchen, your responsibilities will include:

  • Menu Development: Create and design a diverse menu that showcases the best of a variety of cuisines. Develop seasonal and special dishes that highlight fresh, local ingredients. Innovate and introduce new recipes while maintaining authenticity and quality.
  • Kitchen Management: Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation. Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and consistency. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, complying with all health and safety regulations.
  • Staff Leadership: Hire, train, and manage kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development. Schedule kitchen staff to ensure optimal coverage and efficient operation.
  • Inventory and Cost Control: Manage inventory, order supplies, and work with local suppliers to source fresh ingredients. Monitor food costs and work within budgetary constraints to maximize profitability. Implement and oversee portion control and waste management procedures.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Communicate effectively with the restaurant management team regarding menu updates, special events, and promotions.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality checks of ingredients and finished products. Ensure all dishes are visually appealing and meet the restaurant’s presentation standards. Address and resolve any customer complaints related to food quality.


  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Strong communication and people skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
