1928 is seeking BOH talent to fill the following positions. Sous chef, Expeditor, line cooks to join our dynamic team and contribute to our success in delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the head chef in all aspects of kitchen operations, including ordering, organizing, and managing inventory.
  • Prepare and execute high-quality dishes with precision and consistency, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards.
  • Lead and motivate kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
  • Contribute creative ideas to menu development and special events, showcasing your culinary expertise.
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards, always ensuring a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a sous chef or similar role within a high-volume restaurant or catering environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop kitchen team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
  • Proven track record of culinary excellence, including proficiency in various cooking techniques and styles.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred.
