Jason Doo’s popular Harvard Square tiki bar, Wusong Road, is celebrating its one-year anniversary with live music, Mai Tais, fancy tiki mugs and a little friendly competition on Monday, February 27th at their Mai Tai Throw Down. Hosted by the New England Tiki Society (a community committed to the preservation and promotion of American Escapism by exploring the history of tiki through tropical cocktails, Exotica music and Oceania-inspired décor), the event features bartenders from Greater Boston (and beyond!) making their best Mai Tais for you to sample. Look for contenders from spots like Pearl & Lime, backbar, The Wig Shop, Earnest Drinks, Pagu, Drink, The Captain’s Cabin in Phoenix, Arizona, Fuchsia Tiki Bar in New Paltz, NY and more.
