Join UpStairs on the Square’s new Wine Director, Shane Lessard (Lorenzo Savona has moved on and is planning the opening of his own restaurant sometime next year), on selected Wednesday nights starting at 6:30 pm for a special offering of at least five wines, matched up with special complementary menus from either chef de cuisine, Amanda Lydon or Susan Regis. Diners sit at two or three communal tables, and bask in Shane’s enthusiasm for wine and food as he offers a running commentary about dinner, and the best ways to appreciate great wine. The wine dinners offer a particularly pleasurable way to enjoy UpStairs on the Square, as guests share their reactions, develop their palates, and learn more about two of the greatest pleasures in life.
