Summer on the Cape may be over but the food-filled fun certainly isn’t – the Martha’s Vineyard Food & Wine Festival is scheduled for Friday, October 15th and Saturday October 16th. The two day epicurean extravaganza will feature all manner of events with something for everyone – there’ll be wine dinners, classes, tastings et al featuring the likes of Clink‘s Joseph Margate, Pigalle and Marco‘s Marc Orfaly, Tremont 647‘s Andy Husbands, not to mention the folks from dante, dbar, Deuxave and Henrietta’s Table. Dave Martin, of Top Chef fame, will even be making an appearance at the opening reception on Friday night. As an added bonus, a portion of the proceeds from the festival activities will benefit a trio of island non profits – the Martha’s Vineyard Boys & Girls Club, the Martha’s Vineyard Museum, and the YMCA of Martha’s Vineyard.
