A Whole Lot of Wine at Scarlet Oak Tavern

On Thursday, February 24th head to the Scarlet Oak Tavern for a wine dinner that’s just a little different – or actually a lot different. The Hingham restaurant will devote the evening to tasting the wines of Cameron Hughes, a California-based organization that buys surplus wines from high end producers and resells them, at a fraction of the cost, under their own Lot Series label. These relabeled, posh wines will set the stage for a five-course tasting menu from chef Stephen Sherman. Dinner, which costs $95 per person, starts at 6:30pm – call 781.749.8200 to snag a seat.
