Oktoberfest is a wonderful time for beer lovers, but if suds ain’t your thing (or if you’re in the mood for something a little stronger), whisk yourself away to Saloon in Somerville on Wednesday, October 3rd for a full Oktober-feast paired with whiskey cocktails. Woodford Reserve is supplying the good stuff, and they’re starting the evening at 7:00pm with a whiskey aperitif paired with some passed apps to stimulate conversation. Once you sit, you’ll be treated to three more German-style courses from the kitchen while head bartender Luke Graham will explain what’s going on in your glass. Tickets are $65 including all of the bourbon and bratwurst you can handle; get ‘em here (and check out the menu below, it’s ridiculous).
