Whiskeys of the World

Mark Twain once said “Too much of anything is bad, but too much good whiskey is barely enough,” so he’d be probably feel right at home at the InterContinental on Wednesday, August 6th as the Whiskies of the World tour touches down in Boston. If you share the sentiment (if not the literary prowess), you can head to the chic Financial District hotel for an evening of top-notch tastings of hundreds of whiskies from around the globe including Scotch, bourbon, American craft, malts, grains, world, blends, Irish, American, Texan, Canadian, Indian, Australian, Japanese, and more.

Tickets are $99 for general admission, or $150 for early access VIP, which will give you a 45-minute head start on lines and meet and greets, plus unlimited light bites to keep your strength up from chef Didier Montarou’s culinary team, and a cigar and whisky pairing masterclass (cigar is an additional cost). Take your time wandering between all your favorite producers like Angels Envy, Virginia Distillery Co., Roe & Co., Sazerac, Remy Cointreau, Hotaling & Co., Crown Royal, Few Spirits, and many more from 6:00 to 9:00pm, and hang on to your souvenir nosing glass so you can raise a dram at home in style. Order your tickets here, and follow Whiskies of the World on Instagram for more events happening throughout the year.
