More food. More wine. The Taste of WGBH Food & Wine Festival returns Thursday, September 15th, bigger than ever. The four-day extravaganza runs through Sunday the 18th, showcasing international flavors in the city of Boston. You’ll have plenty of chances to be transported to far-off shores with a full weekend of culinary happenings.
The wining and dining starts on Thursday night with a Chef’s Gala, highlighting 24 award-winning New England chefs, with beverages to match. The Artisan Taste expands on the offerings with day-long festivities: live cooking demos (including fire pit BBQ by chef Andy Husbands), book signings, panel discussions, live music, samplings and, of course, eats and drinks from renowned chefs, vintners and brewers in the Grand Tasting Pavilion. Sunday’s Brunch Bar is back by popular demand with an additional half hour of morning beverages and bites, along with live demos, book signings and music. The Food Fight wraps things up Sunday night, when 10 top chefs cast their toques in the ring for the title of champion (this year’s cook-off theme? Bites on a stick).
The Festival only comes once a year, gathering the great culinary and beverage pros of Boston—secure your tickets now and take 20% off with discount code BCFW16 to get your Taste.
