The wife-and-husband team Dian and Francis Ang are on a mission to bring Filipino food to the masses with their pop-up restaurant Pinoy Heritage. On Friday, August 16th and Saturday, August 17th, they’re coming to Bambara to cook food from their roots (using fresh, local ingredients) with their friend and mentor Chef David Bazirgan. There will be a single seating at 7:00pm each night for a four-course meal, with some dishes served family style so the whole table can share the experience. It’s $60 for a seat, including food, tax, gratuity, and a welcome cocktail—cocktail pairings are available for an additional cost. Check out the food and drink menus down there, and click here for tickets for either of the two evenings of culinary adventure.
