Big news coming out of Belmont — every Wednesday night, chef Dante de Magistris is serving his signature dish at The Wellington Neighborhood Eatery, and you’ll have one guess what it is (hint: the name of the restaurant is a huge clue). Swing by Leonard Street any hump day for the spot’s classic Beef Wellington, which has been perfected by de Magistris over many years and through multiple iterations. The chef’s take on the dish features 8 ounces of grass-fed filet mignon from Moyer Farms wrapped with a black truffle tapenade, caramelized onions, speck and puff pastry and served with sautéed spinach and dijon au jus for $48 per person. There’s a limited number of plates available each week, so get there on the early side — dinner service begins at 5:00pm — to guarantee yourself a slice of tender, melt-in-your-mouth perfection.
