Celebrate the Fourth At This New Belmont Eatery

The Wellington Belmont

Four seems to be the lucky number of chef Dante de Magistris, who opened his (you guessed it) fourth restaurant in Belmont — The Wellington Neighborhood Eatery. Along with his two brothers, Damian and Filippo, de Magistris is already the owner of Restaurant dante, il Casale Lexington and il Casale Belmont. The new spot strays from its sisters as far as cuisine goes, saying arrivederci to Italian-American eats and ciao to all-American entrees. Stop by 75 Leonard Street in Belmont on the Fourth of July for a plethora of plates like Steak Tots (pan roasted flat iron steak, green peppercorn pan sauce, green garlic butter, tarragon, truffle dressed cress), The Wellington Burger (puff pastry in between two flat patties, truffle mushroom duxelles, braised spinach, caramelized onions), or the Fried Chicken (dry chili honey glaze or simply honey glaze, buttermilk ranch, shaved cucumber radish salad, mint, cilantro). Call the Wellington at 617.932.1750 for your 4th of July table.
