Clambake season is in full swing, but you don’t have to go to the Cape to get your fresh seafood fix – Alcove is bringing the beach blanket vibe to the city all summer long. Owner Tom Schlesinger-Guidelli and chef Chuck Draghi have started serving Weekend Shore Dinners every weekend at the West End eatery, which are meant to evoke the spirit of Schlesinger-Guidelli’s younger days on the ocean in Westport, Connecticut. Grab a friend and make a reservation for any Friday or Saturday night between 4:00 and 6:30pm throughout July and August (minimum reservation is two guests); $175 includes all the food for two — salad, soup, lobster with steamers, corn, potatoes, chorizo and onions, and a berry cobbler for dessert — plus a welcome cocktail for each of you.
