Vive la France

Celebrate French independence with a real live Frenchman at Harvard Square’s annual Bastille Day bash on Sunday, July 14th. Raymond Ost, a native of the Alsace region and chef-owner of Sandrine’s, hosts the annual tribute to the tricolour on Holyoke Street (right in front of Sandrine’s) in conjunction with the Harvard Square Business Association. From 5:00-10:00pm, there’ll be music (from Cask Mouse, Rapplesauce and French techno courtesy of DJ Kamal), a beer garden put together by the team at Park, and eats from the likes of Finale, Osushi, The Sinclair, Starbucks, Yogurtland, Zinneken’s, La Voile and The Waffle Cabin. The event is free and open to the public though proper identification is required for admission to the beer garden. Get all the details on the Harvard Square Business Association website.
