In keeping with the French tradition of fantastic food and wine, Chef Rachel Klein and her staff at Aura have a few culinary tricks up their sleeves to commemorate Bastille Day. From Tuesday, July 13th through Saturday, July 17th guests can get their fill of traditional French fare on the special Vive la France! menu, where favorites like niçoise salad, croque monsieur and steak frites will all make appearances (with suggested wine pairings, to boot). On Bastille Day itself, diners at the Seaport will be rewarded with complimentary order of pommes frites with the purchase of a beverage between the hours of 5:00 and 10:00pm. If you happen to have a French surname, you’ll receive a Get Out of Jail Free card (good for a complimentary entrée with the purchase of a second) to commemorate the storming of the Bastille.
