If you’ve been missing your book club, here’s the next best thing – Tres Gatos is hosting a virtual book reading and Q&A session with award-winning local author Ron MacLean on Thursday April 30th at 7:30pm via Zoom. MacLean, whose work has appeared in GQ, Narrative, and Fiction International among other publications, will be debuting a new story that’s (coincidentally) about the end of the world (but in a whimsical and wry kinda way with maybe a little heartbreak mixed in). The fun, which will start with a cocktail tutorial from Tres Gatos’ own Nikki Stein (bartender, bookstore employee and writer), is totally free. But you can thank the Tres Gatos folks for putting it all together by making a donation to their GoFundMe campaign which supports their out-of-work-‘til-Tres-Gatos-can-reopen team.
