Urban Hearth Solstice Dinner

Urban Hearth

The summer solstice is practically upon us, and for a proper party in honor of the longest day of the year, head to Cambridge’s Urban Hearth. To mark the change in season, chef-owner Erin Miller and crew have a stunning, summer-themed, communal Solstice Dinner planned for the patio and dining room on Tuesday, June 21st starting at 6:30pm. The evening’s spread features five fabulous courses of Miller’s signature locally-grown, in-season dishes including plates like Steelhead Trout and Kohlrabi Ceviche with Cucumber Pisco Sour, and tender juicy Cavendish Quail with Dukkah Spice, Charred Zucchini Mousse, Rapini and Picked Rose Petals.

Dinner costs $120 per person, and you’ll definitely want to add the optional $80 wine pairing featuring a curated selection of pours from David Mitchell of Mise Wines in Newton. An all-vegetarian menu option will be available, just be sure to make a note of your preference when you make your reservation (available online here or by calling the restaurant at 617.682.7295). Proof of vaccination will be required for indoor dining so be prepared. Seating is limited so be sure to book ASAP to celebrate the best flavors of the early summer growing season!
