On Tuesday, October 27th, Centre Street Café hosts Italian producer Perticaia for a four-course wine dinner. From 7:00-10:00pm, taste the wines of Umbria (we’re talking Trebbiano with body and strength, mouthwatering Sangiovese, dark and deep Sagrantino) alongside chef Brian Rae’s special Cucina Povera-inspired menu. He’s still putting on the finishing touches but you can likely expect an abundance of fresh herbs and simple preparations of exquisite ingredients (and probably quite a few olive oil drizzles). Blanchard’s wine director John Paul Kaminga and Perticaia’s Boston distributor Steven Chevalier will be on hand for the evening, which costs  $65 per person.
